ALMATY. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The European Union expects Iran to make the first step to build confidence, says Michael Mann, the chief spokesperson for EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
Speaking at a press conference following the first day of negotiations between Tehran and the P5+1 (E3+3) group of countries facilitating the settlement of the nuclear problem of Iran in Almaty on Tuesday, Mann said Iran seems to be violating its international commitments, and therefore it should make a first step toward building confidence and promoting the process.
