ALMATY. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The P5+1 group of countries facilitating international efforts toward settling the nuclear problem of Iran expects to receive an answer from Iran to a new package of proposals on Wednesday, says Michael Mann, the chief spokesperson for EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
Speaking at a news conference following the first day of negotiations between P5+1 and Iran in Almaty on Tuesday, Mann said the proposal was presented at the plenary session earlier in the day, after which the Iranian delegation retired to discuss the proposal, and then the discussions were resumed in the afternoon.
P5+1 expects to receive a more detailed answer to its proposal at a plenary session on Wednesday, he said.
