MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russia will design a military research and development system within the next two years, President Vladimir Putin said at an expanded meeting of the Defense Ministry.
"We need to develop major scientific schools centered on the armed forces development and application and support military research centers, among them designers of drones and combat robots," he said.
Every leading state does this research and Russia must not lag behind, Putin said.
