MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The conflict in Syria, stabilization problems in Afghanistan, the Iranian nuclear program, and the Middle East peace process are on the agenda for planned talks on April 13 between the foreign and defense ministers of Russia and Britain, said the British Foreign Office minister of state for Europe, David Lidington.
Other international issues will also be raised at the London meeting between Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague and Defense Secretary Philip Hammond, Lidington told a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
Lidington said he had discussed all the issues he mentioned at meetings with Lavrov and Shoigu in Moscow on Wednesday whose purpose was to collect ideas in getting ready for the April talks.
