MINSK. March 1 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Prosecutor General's Office has received a request seeking the extradition of former Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev and will consider it within a month.
"We have received a request from the Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan regarding Bakiyev's extradition. The document will be considered within a month in accordance with national legislation," Prosecutor's Office spokesman Pyotr Kiselyov told Interfax on Friday.
