TSKHINVAL. March 4 (Interfax) - A 30-year-old citizen of South Ossetia has been released from prison in Georgia, the office of the South Ossetian president's envoy on post-conflict settlement told Interfax on Saturday.
The man has now returned to South Ossetia and is already reunited with his family, the source said.
The South Ossetian authorities now continue working on releasing the South Ossetian citizens who remain in Georgian prisons, the office of the South Ossetian president's envoy on post-conflict settlement has reported.
Two citizens of South Ossetia left Georgian prisons in mid February.
The issue of release of the South Ossetian citizens who are in Georgian prisons is permanently raised in meetings held in accordance with the Mechanism to Prevent and Response to Incidents.
