UN may adopt resolution on DPRK in March under certain conditions - Churkin

NEW YORK (The UN). March 5 (Interfax) - The UN Security Council may adopt a resolution in March regarding the North Korean nuclear test, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin said on Monday.

"We have four draft resolutions that will be definitely adopted in March. There are also two draft resolutions that may be adopted. One of these drafts is about North Korea," he said.

Churkin found it difficult to say when exactly the UN Security Council might approve such a document.

"As you must know, the United States has a draft resolution but it has not been presented for consideration of other UN Security Council members," the Russian diplomat said.
