Book of condolences opens at Venezuelan Embassy in Moscow

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - A book of condolences has been opened at the Venezuelan Embassy in Moscow over the death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

"The book of condolences is open today and tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.," the Venezuelan Embassy told Interfax.

Chavez died at 4:25 p.m. local time (12:55 a.m. Moscow time) on Tuesday. In December 2012, he underwent surgery for cancer in Cuba, which later caused complications.
