MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry is starting to prepare for the West 2013 strategic command-and-staff exercises with Belarus, Minister Gen. of the Army Sergei Shoigu said during a telephone conference at the central command post on Monday.
"A strategic command-and-staff drill of central military commands and military districts is an important event of this week," he said.
This will be the first event in preparations for the West 2013 exercises, he said.
