MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax-AVN) - A new information and analytical body has been established in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov said.
"The relevant decision was made today at the session of the first seminar-session with heads of the information and analytical bodies of the CSTO members," Zainetdinov told Interfax-AVN on Monday.
Zainetdinov said that the analytical association was to reinforce the CSTO information and analytical cooperation and potential.
"It is to develop measures and strategy of coordinated information policy in the interests of the CSTO members, to provide information and analytical support for the CSTO members' presidents, to establish business contacts, to exchange information, and to hold expert and situational analysis," Zainetdinov said.
The association will perform extensive research of social and political activities of the CSTO members, Zainetdinov said.
