VILNIUS. March 13 (Interfax/BNS) - Lithuania's Foreign Ministry said it has no official information proving that Georgian lawmaker Givi Targamadze, whom Russia suspects of plotting mass disturbances, is in Lithuania.
"In reply to your letter we would like to inform you that the Foreign Ministry has no official information about Targamadze's stay in Lithuania," the foreign ministry told the BNS agency.
Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said on December 11 that information had been gathered proving that Targamadze financed a plan to organize mass disturbances in Russia.
