Geneva to host next round of Transcaucasia security discussions on March 26-27

MOSCOW. March 19 (Interfax) - The next round of the consultations on security and stability in Transcaucasia will be held in Geneva on March 26-27.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Secretary of State Grigory Karasin met with the Geneva discussions co-chairs representing the UN, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the European Union on Tuesday.

"The sides exchanged opinions on the current situation in the region and ongoing preparations for the next round of the Geneva discussions, due to take place on March 26-27. They reaffirmed their mutual intention to further promote the constructive work of this international forum, which is important to South Caucasus stability," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a report.
