Russia ready to interact with U.S. on North Korea issue - Ushakov

MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - The situation on the Korean Peninsula was touched upon at the Kremlin meeting with U.S. National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon briefly joined by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Moscow and Washington see "points of contact" for cooperation on this international problem, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters.

"The North Korean subject was discussed. There are points of contact, and we are ready for active cooperation with the Americans on this problem," the Kremlin representative said.
