MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - The United States has been shipping arms to the Syrian opposition for a long time, it just announced this officially on Friday, Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad Interfax on Friday.
"The West which is led by the U.S. has been shipping arms to terrorists since 2011, it just announced this today," Haddad said when asked to comment on reports that the U.S. is going to ship arms to the Syrian opposition.
"The fact of such deliveries can be proven. The Syrian people have been dying from them [delivered arms] for a long time," he said.
