MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - A citizen of Latvia was detained in northeastern Moscow on suspicion of selling cocaine, a city police spokesman told Interfax on Thursday.
"Detectives of the Russian Interior Ministry's branch for the Central Federal District detained a 42-year-old citizen of Latvia on suspicion of drug dealing on Polyarnaya Street in the Severnoye Medvedkovo district at around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday," the spokesman said.
Investigators believe that the foreigner could be involved in a recent sale of two kilograms of cocaine.
The man reportedly sold the first one-kilogram batch of cocaine on July 19, and another kilogram of the drug on August 14, when he was detained, the spokesman said.
