MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Moscow supports the recommendations included in UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's report addressing the UN's role in the program to destroy Syrian chemical weapons, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
"We actively support the UN secretary general's proposals that comply with the principles of the Security Council's Resolution 2118 and the appropriate decision adopted by the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons," he said at a press briefing in Moscow.
