MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has declined to comment on Forbes magazine's putting Russian President Vladimir Putin at the top of its 2013 World's Most Powerful People list.
"Let others make comments and assessments," spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.
Peskov said he didn't know what Putin thought of topping the list but that the president "isn't fussed about things like that."
U.S. President Barack Obama is number two on the annual list, posted on Forbes' website on Wednesday. Chinese President Xi Jinping is third.
Asked whether Putin had been congratulated by any of the other people on the list, Peskov said this was not normal practice.
