Rogozin reports on full fulfillment of state defense contracts in interests of Russian strategic forces

GORKI. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The state defense contracts for the supply of weapons to the strategic forces have been fulfilled in full this year, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.

"New equipment is now being supplied to the troops. The state defense contracts for equipping the strategic forces, for the supply of ballistic missiles and equipment for the Aerospace Defense Troops have been fulfilled in full," Rogozin said during a meeting between Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his deputies.

Specifically, Rogozin said some sixty various planes and helicopters, 15 systems equipped with unmanned aircraft, and a missile system Iskander-M have been supplied to the Armed Forces this year.

Rogozin said the system in which the government, the defense industry commission, and the Federal Service on Defense Contracts are supervising the execution of defense contracts "is now proving effective."
