ROME. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin's negotiations with his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano were highly constructive and addressed a wide range of topics, the Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"It was quite a constructive and informatory conversation," he said.
According to Peskov, Napolitano noted the high level of cooperation between his country and Russia, including economic ties.
"The president of Russia said that economic issues will be discussed further during inter-state consultations in Trieste on Tuesday," he said.
Other topics on the meeting's agenda included the situation in Syria and the Maghreb, as well as a recent interim deal intended to curb Iran's nuclear program.
