OSCE ministerial meeting must not be dimmed by irrelevant issues - Russia EU envoy

BRUSSELS. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Russia's European Union envoy Vladimir Chizhov said the upcoming meeting between the foreign ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's member-countries will hopefully proceed in line with its program.

"A major international event will be held in Kyiv this week - a meeting of the OSCE's Foreign Ministers Council, which will apparently discuss issues pertaining to the organization's further development, and the development of Europe in general," he said in Brussels at a roundtable of the European Russian forum on the EU's Eastern Partnership.

"I do hope that the discussion will not be dimmed by moments that are not directly connected with these agendas," he said.
