Serdyukov confirms with investigator that testimony was previously given - lawyer (part 2)

MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax) - Former Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov has given brief testimony to the investigator but has not admitted his guilt, Serdyukov's lawyer Genrikh Padva told reporters.

"He has given a brief testimony, confirmed previously given testimony and has insisted that he is innocent," Padva said.

Serdyukov has been charged with negligence, the attorney said.

"No damage has been inflicted to the Defense Ministry," Padva said.

Padva and second lawyer representing Serdyukov, Konstantin Rivkiv, have refused to comment further, having said the former minister gave complete and comprehensive testimony.
