ST. PETERSBURG. Dec 23 (Interfax) - The Arctic Sunrise vessel may be released after the Greenpeace activists charged with staging a protest at the Prirazlomnaya oilrig are amnestied, Greenpeace lawyer Anton Beneslavsky told reporters on Monday.
"If this criminal case is closed, the ship, which has been seized in its context, must be freed on formal grounds," the lawyer said.
In this case the ship owner will have to prepare it for transportation, he added.
If the Arctic Sunrise remains seized, the owner will have to use legal instruments for achieving its release, the lawyer said.
