Next group of Russian diplomats to return to Libya on Thursday - Russian ambassador (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The second group of Russian diplomats will return to Libya on Thursday, December 26, Russian Ambassador in Tripoli Ivan Molotkov said.

"They should be there today," he told Interfax.

Molotkov, who is currently in Moscow, said ten diplomats are planning to return to Libya.

Responding to a question as when he plans to return to Libya, the source said: "I hope, some time in January, but more likely closer to the end of the month."

The first group of Russian diplomats returned to Libya in early December. Among other things, the diplomats were expected to find a new building for the Russian diplomatic mission, Molotkov said such a building has not been found yet.

"It's a very long process because the decisions are not made by the group that is located there. Specialists from the center will have to be called," he said.
