No military personnel were hurt in An-12 crash - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax-AVN) - No servicemen were hurt in the An-12 plane crash near Irkutsk, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"According to information received from the accident site, the crash of the transport plane near Irkutsk damaged the upper parts of two warehouses. There are no casualties among the military and the civilian personnel of the warehouses," an official form the Defense Ministry's press service and information department told reporters on Thursday.

"There is no fire on the crash site. The damage is being determined," the source said.

"The warehouses damaged by the crash contained aircraft parts," the source said.
