Access closed to almost 600 extremist websites in Kazakhstan - Prosecutor General's Office

ASTANA. Jan 17 (Interfax) - In 2013 Kazakhstan closed access to 596 extremist websites upon court rulings, Kazakh Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev said.

"Upon our requests, courts closed access to 596 Internet resources campaigning for terrorism and extremist ideas," Daulbayev said at an expanded meeting of the Prosecutor General's Office board concerning the results of its work in 2013.
