Baku's actions hamper settlement of Karabakh conflict - Armenian president

YEREVAN. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has said he is troubled by Azerbaijan's violations of the ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict area.

"The continuing provocations by Azerbaijan and violations of the ceasefire regime along the line of contact create a serious obstacle for further progress in the negotiating process," Sargsyan said at a meeting with the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Philippe Lefort, according to the Armenian leader's press service.

Early on January 20, the Armed Forces of Nagorno-Karabakh suppressed attempts to trespass the self-proclaimed republic's border. An officer of Nagorno-Karabakh's Armed Forces was killed.
