ODESSA. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian police have launched a criminal inquiry under two articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code into the blocking of the exit from an Internal Troops base in Odessa.
The criminal investigation was prompted by a report received by the police from the administration of the Interior Ministry's Internal Troops military unit N3012 that outside the base there was a group of people and a parked car which obstructed transport movement to and from the base, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's Main Directorate for the Odessa region said.
"The information has been entered in the unified register of pre-trial criminal investigations as per part one Article 296 (hooliganism) and part one Article 279 (the blocking of transport communications) of the Ukrainian Criminal Code. The pre-trial investigation continues," the Odessa police said.
