BRUSSELS. Jan 22 (Interfax) - EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton has started a meeting in Geneva with the political directors of the P5+1 (E3+3) group of world powers engaged in negotiations with Iran with regard to its nuclear program, Ashton's spokesperson Michael Mann said on Twitter on Tuesday.

A European diplomatic source told Interfax in Brussels on Monday that the parties should coordinate their steps following a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council and the implementation of the first conditions of the joint plan by Iran.
Ashton reaffirmed at a press conference summing up outcomes of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels on Monday that Iran had honored its obligations under the joint plan concluded together with the P5+1 in Geneva on November 24.
