KYIV. Jan 22 (Interfax) - On Wednesday morning Ukrainian law enforcement officers crossed the site separating them from the barricades erected by protestors on Hrushevsky Street in Kyiv and started dismantling the structures, an Interfax correspondent said.
For their part, demonstrators started throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at Berkut special police unit officers, thus causing them to retreat briefly. A while later Berkut officers resumed the dismantling of the barricades.
