MONTREUX. Jan 22 (Interfax) - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Mualem has called on the international community to lift the sanctions against Syria.
"Cease armed support to terrorists, lift the sanctions, remove the siege and let us practice politics," he said at the international peace conference for Syria in Montreux on Wednesday.
