Arseniy Yatsenyuk turns down president's offer of Ukraine PM post

KYIV. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, members of the working group in charge of settling the crisis in the country and opposition leaders agreed at their latest meeting to include the issue of the government's liability in the agenda of a special parliamentary session.

Ukrainian Justice Minister Olena Lukash said in a statement, published on the president's website last night, that leader of the Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) parliamentary faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk had rejected an offer to become the country's prime minister.

Negotiations will continue.
