KYIV. Jan 29 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government is willing to provide the necessary conditions for achieving national stability, Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and acting Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said in opening a government session on Wednesday.
"The opposition and the government are continuing their dialogue on riding out the crisis now. It is important to display mutual respect, denounce aggression and ultimatums, and achieve mutual understanding and dialogue," Arbuzov said.
"The government is prepared to provide the necessary conditions for achieving national stability," he said.
Arbuzov expressed his condolences to the families of all those killed during the standoff and regretted that a lot of people, including journalists, have been injured. He said he hoped there would be no more casualties.
