Over 5 kilos of heroin seized from Tajiks in Moscow, Khimki

MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Moscow drug control officers have seized over five kilograms of heroin from the members of a drug dealing group from Tajikistan, the Moscow department of the Federal Drug Control Service said on Wednesday.

"Officers obtained information about a drug dealing group of Tajik citizens this January. It became known that the suspects had been selling heroin in Moscow and its suburbs for a long time," it said.

Two group members were detained on the counts of drug dealing preparations in the investigation of the criminal case. The apartment they were renting stored over five kilograms of heroin, the department said.

The detainees were cousins, citizens of Tajikistan born in 1995.
