KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Kyiv's district courts have ordered the arrest of 64 suspects of mass riots on Grushevskogo street in Ukraine's capital.
"The Dniprovsky, Obolonsky, Podolsky, Solomensky and Shevchenkovsky district courts chose house arrest as a pre-trial measure for 14 people. The Svyatoshinsky district court ordered one protester not to leave the city. Forty-nine suspects of mass riots on Grushevskogo street were taken in custody," Kyiv prosecutor's office press secretary Yana Sobolevskaya said.
"The aforementioned people are suspected of mass riots that involved using violence, arson, offering resistance against police with the use of arms and other objects used as weapons," she said.
