ASTANA. Jan 31 (Interfax) - The defense ministries of Russia and Kazakhstan have resolved all issues pertaining to the development of the Balkhash complex, Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu said after negotiations with his Kazakh counterpart Adilbek Dzhaksybekov on Friday.
"We have agreed to begin its cooperative use. Hence, we will start training specialists, clearing them [for work] and, most importantly, deliver and assemble additional equipment," Shoigu said.
The Dnepr missile early warning station is situated in the Balkhash Lake area.
