MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - The Russian Ministry of Education and Science will analyze the situation with taking hostages in a Moscow school in order to develop new measures to enhance security on education facilities, Education Minister Dmitry Livanov told reporters.
"Of course, this tragedy raises the issues of enhancing security in schools to us," Livanov said.
The minister said he had talked to classmates of the suspect and his supervising teacher, who said that the young man was a straight A student and one of the best in school.
"What has happened to him in terms of psychology requires analysis. Psychologists are working now. All children, except for the classmates, have been escorted from the school," Livanov said.
The education ministry will analyze the incident, Livanov said.
"Our duty is to make so that the security of our schools is absolute," the minister said.
