NIZHNY TAGIL. Feb 4 (Interfax-AVN) - The Nizhny Tagil Uralvagonzavod Corporation moved 14 positions up in the 2012 World Top 100 rating of arms makers by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the corporation press service said.
Uralvagonzavod ranked 67th in 2011 and held the 53rd place in 2012, says the 2012 SIPRI annual report presented at the Munich Security Conference on January 31.
The corporation saw a significant year-on-year growth in 2012: works and services sales revenue increased by 44%, sales profit was 21% up and net profit grew 26%.
Key performance indicators of the corporation (sales revenues, EBITDA and net profit) doubled in the period of 2010-2012.
