MOSCOW. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Russia views the decision of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces to come to Geneva II as a confirmation of the coalition's choice for a peace settlement of the Syrian conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We regard the fact that the National Coalition delegation arrived in Montreux to attend the launch of an international peace conference for Syria and the first round of the negotiations as their choice for a peace settlement of the armed conflict," the minister said in his opening remarks at a meeting with National Coalition Chairman Ahmad Jarba.
