Syrian opposition lays responsibility for possible failure of new round of talks on Damascus (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 4 (Interfax) - New actions of the current Syrian government could threaten a new round of the Geneva talks, National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces head Ahmad Jarba said.

"We have revealed the attempts of the regime to commit new crimes in response to all the attempts to find a peaceful solution for the problem. And we have stated that such behavior is greatly threatening a new round of Geneva talks," Jarba said at a news conference in the central office of Interfax.

Current President Bashar al-Assad can not be part of the future Syrian government, Jarba said.

"We confirm to our people from Moscow that we are certain that Assad does not have a future in Syria," Jarba said.
