Syrian opposition denies plans to engage Riyadh, Ankara, Tehran in Syrian crisis settlement (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - The National Coalition for Syrian Opposition and Revolutionary Forces denies plans to engage Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran in settling the crisis in Syria.

"This information is wrong. It is untrue," National Coalition Secretary General Badr Jamous told Interfax in summing up outcomes of a Syrian opposition delegation's visit to Moscow.

Some media outlets reported earlier that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had proposed at his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Munich that Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran be involved in the negotiations on settling the crisis in Syria.

Interfax does not possess official confirmation of this information from either Russian or U.S. officials.
