KYIV. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Arseny Yatsenyuk, Vitali Klitschko and Oleh Tyahnybok, the leaders of the Ukrainian opposition parliamentary factions Batkivshchyna, UDAR and Svoboda, have met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, the Batkivshchyna press service reports on Wednesday.
The meeting took place late on Tuesday. "Before the meeting between Catherine Ashton and President [Viktor] Yanukovych, the opposition informed the EU representative on the situation in Ukraine, particularly on the negotiations on settling the socio-political crisis," it said.
The parties agreed that the contacts between the Ukrainian opposition leaders and Ashton would continue after she meets with Yanukovych, it said.
