BAKU. Feb 14 (Interfax) - The proposal by United States Co-chairman of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Minsk Group James Warlick to start full-format talks on Karabakh require some clarification, the Azeri presidential administration's head of unit Elnur Aslanov said.
"Regrettably, certain unfinished phrases which require further clarification are disorienting public opinion," Aslanov wrote on Twitter in reply to Warlick who posted his views on the same network.
Greek and Turkish Cypriots stated they are beginning full-format talks on a resolution. What can't the same happen in the case of Nagorno Karabakh, Warlick wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
"The time has come to restore full-formal talks with direct participation of Nagorno Karabakh," the Foreign Ministry of the breakaway Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh said in response to the tweet, expressing its agreement with the U.S. diplomat.
"The conflict has only two sides, Azerbaijan and Armenia, and two parties concerned: the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno Karabakh," Aslanov said, for his part.
