Defense Ministry Board to discuss improvement in ammo storage

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry Board will meet on Friday to discuss the storing of missiles and ammunition, Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet (DOSAAF) activities and the fulfillment of the ministry's work plan until 2020, the ministry press service and information department told reporters.

Military district commanders, heads of central military planning bodies, representatives of ministry general inspectorates and the ministry's public council, government members, parliament deputies and law enforcement agency workers will attend the meeting.

"The Russian Defense Ministry Board will have a sitting in Moscow on February 14. The fulfillment of the Defense Ministry's work plan until 2020 will be the main item on the agenda," the ministry spokesmen said.

A way to improve the storage of missiles, ammunition and explosive materials will also be discussed.

"Military occupation training of citizens at DOSAAF centers will be considered by the participants in the Board meeting, as well," the press service said.
