Russian-German meeting at highest level set for April - Foreign Minister Lavrov

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, Germany and Poland has been set for June 2014, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Our meeting that will also involve our Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski will be held in St. Petersburg in June. It will be the fourth meeting in the trilateral format of the foreign ministers of Russia, Germany and Poland," Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Moscow on Friday.

A Russian-German meeting at the highest level is expected to take place in April, he said.

"The opening ceremony for the Year of the German Language and Literature in Russia will be held in Moscow in September," he added.
