Ukrainian rightist movement ready to unblock Hrushevsky Street

KYIV. Feb 14 (Interfax) - The Right Sector movement, a Ukrainian radical right wing of the protest groups continuing demonstrations in central Kyiv, says it is ready to unblock Hrushevsky Street following the release of activists arrested earlier but warns that it reserves the right to act at its own discretion in the future unless all criminal proceedings against activists are closed.

"The last hostage was released at our demand under a court ruling today. In connection with this, Right Sector declares its preparedness to facilitate the unblocking of Hrushevsky Street to traffic," Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh said in a statement on Facebook.

The movement demands that "all criminal cases against our sworn brothers" be closed immediately.

"If this demand is not met, we reserve the right to act at our own discretion within the shortest possible time," the statement says.
