MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry said it offered condolences to relatives and close ones of those killed in the explosion of the bus with South Korean tourists on February 16 in the Egyptian town of Taba on the Sinai Peninsula near the border with Israel carried out by a suicide bomber.
"While offering condolences to relatives and close ones of the killed and wishes of fastest recovery for those injured, we confirm our principled stance of a decisive condemnation of any terrorist attacks, including those aimed against foreign tourists," the Russian Foreign Ministry posted a statement on its website.
"We declare our solidarity with the actions of the Egyptian authorities on stabilizing the situation in the country and their decisive steps to fight terrorism and extremism," the document said.
"According to the available information, no Russian citizens have been injured in the terrorist attack," the statement said.
Four people, including an Egyptian driver, have died and many South Koreans have sustained injuries during the terrorist attack.
