Kyiv hospitals admit 263 injured in rioting, a total of 388 injured - authorities

KYIV. Feb 19 (Interfax) - First aid doctors have rendered medical assistance to 388 people involved in the developments in the heart of Kyiv, the health department of the Kyiv city administration reports.

"Between 6 a.m. and noon on February 19 388 participants in protest actions sought medical assistance. Presently 263 participants in massive events are now receiving hospital treatment at medical institutions with various injuries and wounds, shot wounds and burns," the report says.

Out of those hospitalized 86 are law enforcers, six journalists, one deputy, four children and one foreigner (Russian citizen).
