KUWAIT CITY. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Agreements reached on the Iranian issue are being implemented efficiently and the second stage should lead to closing this issue completely, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"The agreements reached in Geneva in November 2013 are being implemented quite efficiently. We want their complete implementation switching to the second stage and the contents of this stage are now the topic of another round of talks between the P5+1 and Iran," Lavrov said at a news conference following a meeting with Kuwaiti counterpart Sabah Khalid al-Sabah.
"We want the next round to end with a drafting of a final set of agreements, which will completely close all the issues related to the Iranian nuclear program and this will allow us to stop sanctions," Lavrov said.
