Yanukovych replaces chief of General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces

KYIV. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has dismissed Volodymyr Zamana from the post of Chief of the General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and replaced him with Yury Ilyin.

By another decree he dismissed Ilyin from the post of Commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces.

Relevant decrees were signed on Wednesday and posted on the presidential website.
