Automaidan in opposition to new Ukrainian authorities - mass media

KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax) - The Automaidan movement has announced its opposition to the new authorities in Ukraine, an online-based newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda said.

"We were monitoring those, the previous ones, and now shall likewise be monitoring you. We shall be watching every one of you!" movement's co-leader Serhiy Koba said from the Euromaidan stage.

He also warned the new officials against corruption. "Each one of the officials, the new officials, must be aware that they are coming to power to work for our national interests and not their own business. Business is one thing, power is another. We shall be watching this - as your wealth grows," Koba said.

Automaidan will not accept any new privileges for the new authorities on the road, the activist said. "No motorcades! For no one! If you're in a hurry, get on the metro!" he said.
